Best Train Ride In The World

The Glacier Express rides on one of the worlds best rails. One portion of the journey is even UNESCO recognised! Although not cheap at around €300+ per pax, finding an alternative to this is almost impossible. The train goes through and along mountains and provides spectacular views that could leave you in awe for almost all 8 hours of the journey. You can purchase meals onboard the train however they are a little pricey. They however will not stop you from bringing your own meals on board if you’d like (which is what we did)! The seats were quite comfy, although it’s not the kind you could easily sleep in. There’re plugs and trash bins at every table for your convenience. The windows go all the way up for your panoramic indulgence. And best of all, there is wifi. If you’d like to go the whole stretch, take the train from St. Moritz all the way to Zermatt.
