Well-preserved Earl's Palace

Spanish Pyrenees Hike ~ Zaragoza (Region) The Palace of the Counts of Sastago is a Renaissance building located in Corso Street, Zaragoza. It was originally the residence of the Count of Sastago. The palace was built between 1570 and 1574. Later, it became the temporary residence of kings (Philip II and, in 1814, Ferdinand VII) when they passed through Zaragoza. Currently owned by the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, it hosts temporary exhibitions on various themes. Free admission. There is a beautiful library but, like some of the rooms, it can only be visited on a guided tour. #AprilDestinations2025 #SpainTravel #Aragon
