Hike Gubałówka✨

After an amazing weekend in the High Tatras in Slovakia, it is time to return home 🇵🇱❤️ I didn’t want to take a suuper long ride directly to Warsaw, so I decided to spend a night in another favourite place of mine 💖💖 TBH, it’s my first time in Zakopane in August, so it felt a bit crowdier than I’m used to, but I still love it with all my heart! The weather that day was literally perfect. So even though I was slightly tired after hiking in Slovakia, I couldn’t resist myself doing a quick detour to Gubałówka. It is a small mountain above the Polish town of Zakopane. It is quite a popular tourist attraction, offering incredible views of the Tatras and Zakopane itself. Moreover, it is the first time I hiked it without taking a cable car - and I highly recommend this way. It’s quite easy and relaxing, and you can enjoy the mountain as you go up and down. But if you’d rather go for a quick walk, the funicular is always there. It works from 8:00am to 9:30pm and costs 45 zł round trip (I heard you can buy it for only 27 zł if booking online btw). Anyways, it was a really enjoyable walk and I wanted to share a few shots with you. Later this week I’ll also post some great views from Gubałówka itself (caught one hell of sunset!!!).
