Yunxiao-Cai Pu Fort

Caipu Fort is located in Caipu Village, Huotian, Yunxiao today. It was built in the third year of Tianqi's reign (1623) in the Ming Dynasty. The ancient castle adopts the layout of "buildings and castles in one", with four gates in the east, west, south and north, built with three rammed earths. Surrounding the city wall is a moat, which is surrounded by water from the upper reaches of the Zhang River. It is beautiful and spectacular. Entering from the north gate, the front is the Chenghuang Temple in Cai Po Fort. There is an endless stream of people coming here to pray for blessings and eliminate disasters, and the incense is prosperous. In addition, there are four houses built in the Qing Dynasty and a unicorn stone screen wall with reliefs in the Ming Dynasty. The most amazing thing in Caipu Fort is the two to three-story buildings built along the city wall, which are unique in style and magnificent.
