Temple in the mountains

Daishan is located in the mountains at the junction of Yongchun, Zhangping and Datian counties in Fujian Province, covering 5,000 acres of virgin forest with strange trees and rocks. The mountains are full of towering ancient trees and beautiful scenery, which is refreshing. Daishan Rock is famous for the poems that Zhu Xi, a famous Neo-Confucianist in the Southern Song Dynasty, and Chen Guang, a local Jinshi, chanted and sang here. There are still calligraphy works such as "The First Peak of Moon Peng" and "Cold Bamboo and Wind Pine" preserved here, as well as Wenchang Pavilion, Zhuzi Study, Zhuzi Cave and other historical sites. It is a gorgeous scenic spot in the west of Yongchun. The thousand-year-old temple hidden in the green trees is full of incense and fairy spirit.
