Fall colour foliage at Sankeien

#fallishere Sankeien is a private garden buikt by Hara Sankei, situated at the Negishi area of southern Yokohama. It was opened to the public in 1904, featuring many historic sites of tea houses, main hall, pagodas and gardens. Before Sankei bought this land, this place was the formee residence of a daimyo, so you can see many old relics on displayed in one of the museum. During autumn, the leaves in the garden will turn red so it is also a very famous spot to enjoy the fall foliage during autumn. There is also a veey old gingko tree which turns yellow during autumn. Getting there: Take bus 8 or 148 from Yokohama station, or bus 8 or 58 from Sakuragicho station and alight at Sankeien Entrace stop. Fee: 900 yen per peeson.
