[Hokkaido] Yoichi, the warm and welcoming town of whiskey

#Spring0yenTrip Yoichi was a simple and warm town where nature and people's lives blended together perfectly. At the Nikka Whisky distillery, just a short walk from the station, I was overwhelmed by the historic building and spacious grounds, and felt the depth of whiskey-making. The aroma and flavor of the raw liquor I sampled was intense and truly authentic. The whole town was laid-back, and it was nice to be able to spend my time leisurely without being rushed. The seafood bowl I ate while looking out at the nearby sea was also excellent, and the local flavor was comforting. It wasn't flashy, but it was a memorable place.
