To fully experience the village’s serene mornings and enchanting night views, we chose to stay inside the ancient town. Our traditional loft-style room was charming and cozy, with an incredibly comfortable bed that made us feel right at home. Initially, we were worried about navigating the old cobblestone paths with our luggage, but to our delight, the homestay staff went above and beyond—helping us carry our bags all the way to our room upon arrival and again when we departed. Their kindness truly made our stay stress-free! One important tip: Don’t forget to purchase the Hongcun entrance ticket(required even if you’re staying overnight). If you want an authentic, peaceful, and welcoming experience in Hongcun, this homestay is the perfect choice!
