I finally made it to Hongcun, a place I've always wanted to visit. When you're in Hongcun, make sure to get up early and head to Nanhu to see the Hui-style buildings reflected in the water amidst the morning mist. It's a dreamy sight. Then, take a leisurely stroll around Yuezhao and enjoy the tranquility and harmony of the ancient village. At noon, you can try local delicacies at a small shop in the village. Don't miss the stinky mandarin fish and hairy tofu. In the afternoon, visit ancient buildings such as Chengzhitang to learn about the local history and culture. In the evening, find a lakeside café and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Hongcun at night is a different experience. The dim lights make it feel like you've traveled back in time. Time seems to slow down in Hongcun, making it a place you'll never want to leave.
