With a child in tow, we were initially just aiming for a vacation, to eat, drink, and play at the hotel, take a stroll nearby, experience the local spirit of the place, and incidentally recharge our energy fields. We stayed at Banyan Tree Huangshan for three days and two nights, and also roamed around the surrounding ancient villages. I hope this guide will be helpful to you. ⚠️: Banyan Tree Huangshan is close to Lucun, Hongcun, and Tachuan, but a bit far from the Huangshan scenic area, so it's more suitable for a vacation combined with a leisurely visit to ancient villages, rather than hardcore mountain climbing trips. ⚠️: Hongcun, Xidi, and Huangshan are free on Wednesdays, and the high-speed rail Yixian East Station is also about to open, making it more convenient to come and go for fun. 📍Located in Yixian, Huangshan City, Lucun is just a stone's throw away, very pristine, quiet, and beautiful. You can ask the hotel's shuttle to take you to the entrance of the village. It's also very close to Hongcun, suitable for a relaxed stroll through ancient villages with children, enjoying food and fun. Remember to snap a few pictures ✅ Be sure to check out the view of Lucun village, distant mountains, and misty smoke in the early morning, full of poetic and picturesque Jiangnan scenery, truly healing ✅ Collect 5 stamps to exchange for a small gift, I easily collected 12 and exchanged for a bottle of fragrant and useful moisturizer ✅ The hotel allows feeding peacocks and goldfish, don't forget if you have a baby. You can call for a shuttle from the front desk to the room and nearby areas ✅ Breakfast is highly commendable, although not particularly numerous in variety, everything is quite delicious! Especially the rice noodles with bamboo shoots, so tasty that I had 2 bowls every morning.
