Temple recommendation.

Zhenguo Temple is one of the earliest Buddhist temples in Yixian County. It is located in Jie Village, Lingyunce Township, on the banks of the Zhongyi River. The temple and the stone Buddha both date back to the 11th year of the Kaihuang era of the Sui dynasty. As there is a stone Buddha statue in the hall, Zhenguo Temple is also known as Lifo Temple by locals. In the 7th year of the Guangxu era of the Qing dynasty, the temple was destroyed by a storm. It was later restored, and the three Buddha halls were rebuilt in the 25th year of the Guangxu era. The murals on the east, west, and north walls of the hall are vivid and lifelike. The Buddha statue is a standing statue of Shakyamuni Buddha. It is made of white marble and is 4.92 meters tall. It stands on a lotus pedestal, draped in a kasaya, and painted in color. The carving is delicate, and the lines are smooth, showing the typical style of Sui dynasty Buddhist statues. It is of great reference value for the study of Sui dynasty culture and stone carving art. The hands and feet of the Buddha are now damaged. In July 1993, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province.
