🌴 Escape to an island paradise 🌴

30 minutes off the coast of Yeppoon, near Rockhampton, lies an island relatively unknown in most regions of Australia. Great Keppel Island was known as a party haven back in the 80s, but all that changed when the resort was shut down. Nowadays there is only 2 or so places for you to stay and as a result you will pretty much have this island to yourself. Spend a few days exploring the 16 pristine, white-sand beaches, snorkeling on the reef, swimming with turtles, fishing at sunset with dolphins or saying hi to the local wildlife on land. Make sure to have cocktails at sunset at the beachfront pub, or better yet, bring a bottle of wine, wiggle your toes in the sand and watch the sun dip over the horizon from the beach. #beachlife

Polynesian Cultural Center

Island Hopping Bliss in Hawaii! 🌺🏝️ Get ready for a vibrant journey—soak in the sun at Kuhio Beach Park, marvel at epic volcanic views from Diamond Head, chase waterfall magic at Waimea Falls, witness dazzling Polynesian performances in Laie, and snorkel crystalline waters at Shark’s Cove. Dive into Aloha vibes, unspoiled beauty, and tons of local charm! 🗺️ Itinerary Highlights: Start your Honolulu adventure at Kuhio Beach Park—soft sands, palm-framed sunsets, and classic Aloha statuary are all must-snaps. Next, trek up Diamond Head State Monument (open 6AM–4PM daily) for iconic panoramas—capture the curve of Waikiki against blue Pacific horizons, best during early morning light. Venture north to Waimea Falls in Pupukea; an easy hike through lush botanical gardens leads to the falls—bring a swimsuit for a dip and snap photos with the backdrop of wild greenery. Immerse yourself in Polynesian history at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie (check seasonal hours)—explore island villages, watch fire-knife dancing, and don’t miss the canoe pageant! Based on your own experience, make time to check out the outdoor cultural displays, like the wooden boat in front of the traditional building—perfect for a sunny capture. Wrap up at Shark’s Cove, great for snorkeling among vibrant reef fish—visit early for calm waters, and don’t forget water shoes (some rocks can be sharp!). 🌟 Tips & Precautions: Stay hydrated and use reef-safe sunscreen. For Diamond Head, start early to avoid crowds and heat. Some attractions are closed certain days—double-check hours, especially for PCC. Parking can be tight, arrive before noon. Respect local customs and natural areas; leave no trace and share a friendly “Aloha” with locals! #Hawaii #AlohaVibes #BeachLife #PolynesianCulture #TravelTips

Promthep Cape Restaurant

Exploring Phuket’s wild side was the highlight of my trip 🌴🌞 If you’re a nature lover like me, you’ll be obsessed with Phuket’s blend of ocean views, lush greenery, and mountain panoramas. The island is sun-drenched and full of laid-back outdoor spots — perfect for unplugging and recharging. Must-See Places: Promthep Cape Light House (แหลมพรหมเทพ, Rawai, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83100): Open all day, this iconic lighthouse gives you absolute killer views over the turquoise sea and coastline. Go early to beat the crowds and catch the best sunlight for photos. Laem Phra Chao Lighthouse (Q864+Q62, Rawai, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83100): This hidden gem is ideal if you want a quieter vibe and sweeping natural scenery. Bring water and a sunhat — it gets bright! Promthep Cape Restaurant (94/6 Moo 6, Rawai Beach, Phuket Town): Refuel with authentic Thai dishes overlooking the ocean. The restaurant’s patio is a prime spot to just chill, soak up the views, and maybe spot coconut trees swaying. Travel tips: For nature junkies — plan to arrive at the lighthouses early. Redang Island Resort

Sun, Sea & Striking Wildlife at Redang’s Turtle Bay 🐢🌴 Redang Island is a go-to paradise for an easy escape—think powder-white beaches, crystal seas, and the magic of watching wild turtles and baby sharks glide by! ☀️ The Turtle Bay is known for its clear waters and as the island’s hotspot for spotting turtles—just remember to keep a respectful distance. Early mornings or quieter afternoons are best for encounters, and that classic coconut tree-lined beach makes for unforgettable close-ups and insta-worthy ocean selfies. For a full experience, hop on an island tour! Snorkel with baby sharks at secluded coves, sample local food at beachfront cafes, and laze under swaying palms. If you’re a beach lover, bring sunscreen (a must—take it from experience!) and spend the afternoon lounging to the sound of gentle waves. Rain clouds can roll in quickly, so pack a light poncho just in case. As the sun dips low, Redang turns up the tropical charm—be sure to catch live performances and local entertainment that bring the nights alive. The lively atmosphere is perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Pro tip: Take advantage of the island’s laid-back culture and join in outdoor evenings by the sea for memorable moments. #RedangIsland #TurtleBay #IslandHopping #BeachLife #NatureEscape
