Regular Retreat at Hyatt Hotel Canberra

We head to Canberra once or twice annually for art gallery exhibits, museums, Floriade, and such, and we consistently choose Hyatt Hotel Canberra. It's situated on the Parliament House side of the lake, removed from the busy Northbourne Avenue area. From our first step through the doors with the cheerful and welcoming door staff, to the reception team and eateries, everyone is pleasant, supportive, and accommodating. Over the years, we've tried different rooms ranging from standard to suite, which all maintain impeccable cleanliness, furnishings, and fixtures regardless of type. Outdoor parking is complimentary over the weekends until early Monday morning. There’s also undercover parking available for a fair fee. If visiting over the weekend, I opt for outdoor parking; during weekdays, I pay for undercover to avoid stress about meter parking. From the back entrance, there's a charming walk along the lake, perfect for a morning stroll or a tranquil late afternoon walk after a busy day. Once you stay, you'll yearn to return, just as we do.
