Yantai Four Points by Sheraton Hotel Review: The ocean view suite was a wonderful surprise! 💰️Average cost per person: This stay was incredibly cost-effective. For just over ¥200, I got a 100-square-meter ocean view suite. The value for money is outstanding, making it a hidden gem for those seeking quality without breaking the bank. 🏘️️️Room Type/Layout: The Premier Suite truly lived up to its name. The 100-square-meter space was well-laid-out in a square shape, and it was a corner room. The bedroom boasted a stunning 270-degree ocean view. With a separate living room, bedroom, two bathrooms, and a walk-in closet, the suite felt incredibly spacious. While the furniture didn't quite fill the space, creating a slightly empty feel, it also contributed to the overall sense of openness. The lack of a standard desk was compensated for by a small round table, which added a touch of casualness. The unique floor lamp next to the sofa was a stylish touch, though it was a shame it didn't work. The welcome gift, featuring local Laiyang pear juice, was a thoughtful touch. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The minibar included a capsule coffee machine with two capsules, as well as tea bags and Bama Platinum bottled water. The guest bathroom was spacious, with a high-quality stone washbasin, a Hansgrohe faucet, and a premium toilet. The bedroom featured a bench at the foot of the bed and a sofa by the window, offering breathtaking views. The walk-in closet had a separate vanity table, and the master bathroom featured a genuine Arto bathtub and a uniquely designed shower, creating a luxurious and comfortable experience. The large Huawei TV and wall-mounted JBL speakers, while appearing slightly small in the spacious room, provided a decent audio-visual experience. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The hotel's soundproofing and cleanliness were excellent. My stay was peaceful and quiet, and the room was spotless, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free experience. 💗Other tips: While this newly opened Four Points by Sheraton is a bit far from the ocean, its height compensates with stunning ocean views. The hotel lobby features a retro American industrial design, incorporating local elements, making it visually appealing. The hotel's conference room was hosting a traditional Chinese wedding, adding a festive atmosphere. The concierge service was incredibly attentive, offering assistance with luggage upon arrival and departure. The hotel is also very member-friendly, providing breakfast and welcome points. The executive lounge on the 26th floor, right next to the suite, is currently closed. The hotel kindly extended my check-out time to 4 pm, which was a fantastic gesture. Currently, the suite upgrade rate for non-suite bookings is 66%, so try your luck!
