The Nanshan Tourist Scenic Area is a national 5A tourist attraction with a rich and long history of Buddhist culture and abundant resources. It boasts historical sites and figures such as Mount Gulushan, Zhaoqing Temple, and the compassionate monk San Zang. Nanshan Chan Temple, with its Buddhist cultural resources including the Nanshan Grand Buddha, Nanshan Jade Buddha, Avatamsaka World, Xiangshui Nunnery, and the East Sea Guanyin Hall, forms an integrated Buddhist cultural system.
