📍Yangzhou 2 Days 1 Night More Than Just the Fireworks in March! ☁☁️☁️ 🚇Transportation 🚄Huzhou——Nanjing South——Yangzhou East (All direct high-speed trains are in the afternoon, so we chose to transfer, making a quick switch at Nanjing South) 🏠Accommodation We chose a budget hotel near the university town, with plenty of food options around 🍱Dining 1⃣ Mao Pai Lou It is said to be a breakfast restaurant frequently visited by Yangzhou locals. It was very empty when we went around eight or nine o'clock. Recommended dishes: Three Ding Bao, Crab Roe Bun, Shrimp Wonton, Mixed Noodles (a bit salty, somewhat disappointing), very affordable prices 2⃣ Xie Yue Lou - Crab Roe Noodles The crab roe noodles are delicious, you can really see the crab meat, and the noodles can be refilled for free. They also offer group buying, which is very cost-effective (it's great to find such an affordable place in a tourist area) 3⃣ Hu Yuan Cuisine A local Yangzhou restaurant, it looks like a small shop from the outside. At first, we thought it was closed, but inside there were many seats. We ordered Stinky Fat Intestines, Boiled Dried Tofu, Yangzhou Fried Rice, all of which were great, highly recommended 🥛How can you come to Yangzhou and not drink Yangda yogurt? We bought many flavors, but didn't like the floral ones, the other flavors were much better 🥨Jingang Hoof was not tasty, fried stinky tofu was good, Lotus Garden in Coarse Tea and Simple Meals was not good 🪭Finally got the lacquer fan I've been longing for, and it's super beautiful Day1⃣: Arrived at Yangzhou East Station in the afternoon, dropped off luggage at the hotel and headed to Slender West Lake (it's really big, and the weather was hot, just a quick tour took an hour)➡Caiyi Street (lots of snacks, great for strolling)➡️Guandong Street (a very commercial street, not recommended)➡️Pishi Street (many unique shops, great for photos) Day2️⃣ Grand Canal Museum (booked a week in advance, really worth visiting, we spent about five hours there, recommend booking a morning slot, we arrived at the museum at 11:30 am and spent the whole afternoon there. There are restaurants inside, and Hall 3 has many food options, no need to worry about getting hungry. The experience in Hall 1 and Hall 2 is really good)➡️National Day Road for food➡️Home
