Check out this nanny-level guide to experience the best sights and local delicacies, and impress your friends!👇 Day 1: Slender West Lake + Wenchang Pavilion 📍 Slender West Lake Arrive in Yangzhou at 2pm, check into the hotel, and head to Slender West Lake in the late afternoon. 👍 Experience tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. Due to Yangzhou's height restrictions, you won't see any tall buildings from Slender West Lake, creating an immersive experience. 📝Tips: ✅ I entered the park in the late afternoon with a "Day+Night" combo ticket, allowing me to enjoy the scenery in daylight, twilight, and at night. ✅ We opted for a relaxing hand-rowed boat ride upon entering, which offered a lovely view of the illuminated lake at dusk. ✅ The night tour features light shows, "Da Tie Hua" (iron flower striking), iron pot performances, and other immersive experiences that transport you back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty. 📍 Wenchang Pavilion You'll pass by this pavilion on the way to Slender West Lake from our accommodation. Capture a "past-meets-present" wide-angle shot from across the street. 📝Tip: I don't think it's worth a special visit. ————— Day 2: Geyuan Garden + Old Street Stroll 📍 Geyuan Garden - The seasonal rockeries in Geyuan Garden are stunning! Enter through the east gate and exit through the south gate to reach Dongguan Street directly. 📍 Dongguan Street + Caiyi Street + Pishi Street Souvenirs, cafes, Instagrammable walls, authentic snacks... These three streets are close to each other, perfect for a leisurely stroll. 🍽️Food Recommendations: Brunch🥣: Yechun Tea House for morning tea. I love Yangzhou baozi (steamed buns). Dinner🥣: Eel noodles. ————— Day 3: Grand Canal Museum + He Garden 📍 Grand Canal Museum A relatively new museum. Hall 3 features an immersive Sui and Tang Dynasty streetscape, offering a journey through time. 📍 He Garden - Known as the "best late-Qing Dynasty garden," it features covered walkways and rockeries. Many ladies in cheongsams take photos here, capturing the essence of a "young mistress in a grand mansion." ————— ❤️Hidden Gems: 🌟Bathhouse Experience!
