Yangshuo Travel Guide ④ Xingping Ancient Town (with a map).

⛰️ Attractions Xingping Ancient Town is small, so you can wander around and then go to the Xingping Wharf to see the sunset at the 20 Yuan Scenic Spot. Overall, it is a pleasant town. The wharf and the 20 Yuan Scenic Spot are also great for aerial photography. If you have enough time and energy, you can climb Laozhai Mountain to see the view from above. 🚗 Transportation As one of the stops on the Yangshuo tour, you are usually already in Yangshuo. Take a taxi to Yangshuo Bus Terminal and take a minibus to Xingping Ancient Town for CNY 15 per person. 🍜 Food and Accommodation We stayed at the Aijiu Hotel (Yangshuo Xingping Lijiang Scenic Area Branch) near the ancient town. The environment and facilities were good, and the price was reasonable. The best part was that the hotel was opposite the Must-eat List Golden Roast Goose and Beer Fish (Xingping Branch 2). We ate there twice. The bamboo chicken and beer fish were delicious, and every dish was great. The price was also cheaper than in Yangshuo. Another Must-eat List restaurant, Liyue River View Restaurant, serves delicious duck feet with snails. The environment is great, but it is far from the 20 Yuan Scenic Spot. A good way to get there is to use the free shuttle service within the ancient town. After visiting the 20 Yuan Scenic Spot, you can call the restaurant to pick you up for dinner and then take you back to the inn in Xingping Ancient Town. This will save you a lot of energy and you won't have to walk back.
