Xuzhou, how can you be so beautiful—Huilongwo The current Huilongwo Historical and Cultural Block is a composite block that relies on folk customs and integrates fashion and leisure. The block was first built during the Qing Dynasty, and the architectural layout is typical of traditional Xuzhou residential buildings, with the oldest house being over 200 years old. According to the Xuzhou City Chronicle, Huilongwo got its name because the terrain is low-lying, causing rainwater to backflow and accumulate for a long time, commonly known as 'backflow whirlpool'. Later, the name was harmonized to 'Huilongwo', meaning 'Dragon's Nest'. Although the sun is scorching, strolling through the block and enjoying the changing scenery is very delightful.
