Deep in the clouds, Qiyun Mountain is a sight to behold.

🧗‍♀️Qiyun Mountain, also known as Baiyue, was named for its peak that is level with the clouds. Emperor Qianlong once called it "the unparalleled beauty of the world, the number one mountain in Jiangnan." Qiyun Mountain is made up of red rock from the Late Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic era and has a unique Danxia landform. 📍Located in Qiyunshan Town, Xiuning County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, it's not far from the highway exit. ✅After arriving at the visitor center, you can choose to take the cable car 🚡 up and down the mountain, or you can hike up. It's recommended to hike, as you can see more beautiful scenery. You will pass Dengfeng Bridge, and there are 13 pavilions along the way for visitors to rest, cool off, take shelter from the rain, and enjoy the surrounding scenery. The 13 pavilions are: Diyi Xianguan Pavilion, Buyun Pavilion, Huanfeng Gongxiu Pavilion, Denggao Pavilion, Zhonghe Pavilion, Baiyue Pavilion, Lingfeng Pavilion, Zhanjing Pavilion, Songyue Pavilion, Haitian Yiwang Pavilion, Yunshui Pavilion, Jianru Xianguan Pavilion, and Wangxian Pavilion. Each pavilion is unique and has its own style. You will also pass through Tianmen 1, Tianmen 2, and Tianmen 3. ✅The scenic area has preserved many original Hui-style residences built along the mountain. They stand on the edge of cliffs, hidden in the mountain forests, and are barely visible. They are interesting when paired with the Taoist temples and caves on the mountain.
