Compared to the Yellow Mountain, I have a greater love for the neighboring, lesser-known Taoist fairy mountain!

I've found that, compared to the Yellow Mountain, I have a greater affection for another lesser-known Taoist fairy mountain located in Anhui. Last year when I visited Anhui, right next to the Yellow Mountain, I found a Taoist fairy mountain with a richer historical background than the Yellow Mountain. Although it's not well-known now, it was more famous than the Yellow Mountain a hundred years ago. Its history dates back to the Tang Dynasty and was once the resting place of Xu Xiake, Qiu Chuji, and Zhang Sanfeng. There are also stele inscriptions by Tang Bohu on the mountain. Don't miss it on your next visit to Anhui. Travel tips: Take the high-speed train to 'Huangshan North Station' or 'County East Station', then take a scenic shuttle or taxi. It is recommended to stay at the Qiyun Mountain Hotel by the Hengjiang River at the foot of the mountain. Ticket + round-trip cable car + bamboo raft, price: 188 yuan. Mountain hiking circuit: Yuehua Cableway up the mountain - Wangxian Tower - Mengzhen Bridge - Shouzi Rock - Zhenxian Cave Mansion (Tiankai Divine Beauty) - Yuehua Street - Xianglu Peak - Taisu Palace - Xiaohu Sky - Yuxu Palace - Wulao Peak - Ziyun Pass - Fang La Fort - Danxia Corridor - the highest peak - cableway down the mountain. Other considerations: No turning back, it takes 4-5 hours. Pay attention to the time, the cableway operates from 8 am to 4:50 pm. If you want to see the sunrise, you can watch it from the highest peak on the mountain. The main checkpoints on the mountain include Zhenxian Cave Mansion, Yuehua Street, Yuxu Palace, Fang La Fort, and Danxia Corridor.
