The parking lot is free and very considerate; if you want to hike and play in the water, navigate to “Qingzhai Village” and take the Salt Gang ancient trail loop, 13km with 500m+ elevation gain—climb mountains and soak in water, super refreshing! 🚗 I chose Lijiaxi Village last time, got a shady parking spot before 9 am, but if you’re late, there’s really no place to park! Here are some must-visit water spots! The S-shaped stone bridge at Leigongdu (Crossing 17) is amazing! Driving over it splashes water everywhere; standing in the middle of the bridge for a backshot, you don’t even need to show your face to get hundreds of likes 📸 The water surface at Liyudu (Crossing 2) is like a mirror, reflecting the green mountains. There are small fish in the shallow water, and if you bring a net, you can catch shrimp. My niece didn’t want to leave! The deep water at Niuxindu (Crossing 13) reaches waist level; good swimmers can swim here. The farmhouse on the shore sells plum juice for 5 yuan a cup—cool and thirst-quenching~ Hongyandu (Crossing 18) is in Chiyan Village, where red rocks meet clear water, creating stunning color contrasts. Aerial shots here are legendary! For those with kids, focus on these spots! Wudu Luhuadu has plenty of shade, so no worries about sunburn; Liudu Baizhudu has bamboo groves and stone beaches where kids can build stone towers; Niupingdu has gentle water flow, safe for kids to splash around. I wore regular slippers last time and almost slipped on the mossy stones—the creek rocks are ridiculously slippery; leave immediately if it’s cloudy!
