| Low-key but with a rich history. 🌟 Taizhou is a city with a long history and rich culture, with many natural and cultural attractions. Taizhou is also a vibrant modern city. 🌟 I went to Taizhou because Xianju is so famous. At night, I went to Ziyang Street and climbed the Taizhou City Wall. It was so beautiful, so I drove from Shanghai to Taizhou in about four hours for a spontaneous trip. Here is my itinerary: Day 1⃣️ Explore Xianju, which is famous for its peaks and waterfalls. It's great for taking the elevator up the mountain for a relaxing time. Must-see attractions include Foying Lianyun, Lianhuatai, and Ruyiqiao. Wear bright colors for the best photos. Xianju Scenic Area has many natural wonders, so take a day to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and rivers. Day 2⃣️ Climb the Taizhou City Wall, which was built during the Ming Dynasty by Qi Jiguang to resist the Japanese. It is more than 6,000 meters long and is known as the "Badaling of Jiangnan." Climb the Taizhou City Wall for a great view of the ancient city. 🌃 In the afternoon and evening, stroll along Ziyang Street, a historic street with many old shops and local snacks. 😋 Ziyang Street is brightly lit at night and has a unique charm. Try local snacks such as seaweed cakes and plum blossom cakes to experience Taizhou's food culture.
