Xiamen Botanical Garden｜Another day full of energy!

We went to the botanical garden yesterday. We drove in through the South Gate. After getting off, it seemed like we took about 6 escalators, and then we were directly at the mountaintop. A quick tip: the escalators stop running after 5:30 PM this season! So be sure to watch the time~ Once at the top, walk to the viewing platform, then walk a bit further to catch the sightseeing bus! You can buy a pass for the sightseeing bus (10 yuan), and then you’re good to go! We went quite late, in the afternoon, so we only visited the Succulent Station and the Tropical Rainforest Station, both of which are quite popular and highly recommended. Then we went all the way to the West Gate. If, like us, you arrive after 5:30 PM and miss the escalator back to the South Gate, here’s an important tip!!! You can take the park shuttle bus from the West Gate back to the South Gate! Don’t be like us, foolishly taking a taxi back, which got stuck in heavy traffic, and taxis didn’t even want to pick us up. Overall, I recommend entering through the West Gate. The South Gate mainly serves the escalator to the viewing platform, which isn’t particularly special. Next time, I’ll definitely enter from the West Gate~ The garden is huge inside. If you visit this season, I suggest starting in the morning or around noon. We went in the afternoon, and the sun set shortly after, so we didn’t get to experience much~ Oh, and the ticket price is 30 yuan for adults~ Highly recommend mosquito repellent!!! (This place is extremely friendly for people with rhinitis; the air is really great!)
