A warm island where winter doesn't feel real: The street scenery of Gulangyu

Walking through the streets of Gulangyu I strolled leisurely through the streets of Gulangyu. Even though it was December, the weather was so warm that I could walk around without a coat. The sky was vividly clear and blue, and the sea sparkled under the sunlight, stretching out in a beautiful blue expanse. It hardly felt like winter. Interestingly, flowers were blooming here and there, and the red-roofed buildings combined with narrow alleys created countless photo-worthy spots as I walked. There were just the right number of tourists—not too crowded, but lively enough. As I walked, I came across cafes playing music and street performers, making the simple act of walking feel like a true travel experience. Each alley had a different vibe, and no matter where I wandered, new scenes unfolded. In the quieter backstreets, cats were leisurely strolling around. It was wonderful to see such scenery even in winter, and I couldn't help but think, 'I want to stay here for a few days.'
