A romantic stroll along Gulangyu Beach, an island in the city

It is close to downtown Xiamen, but because it is an island, you can feel the ocean view more closely. The walking path along the sea is well-made, and you can see pavilions and old European-style buildings built on the sea. The sound of the waves and the guitar playing of street performers adds to the atmosphere. There were quite a few tourists, but it didn't feel crowded, and I was able to walk comfortably and enjoy the scenery. There were many good photo spots near the beach, and the cool breeze felt good. It didn't take long to walk around the entire island, so it was perfect for a walk, and there were many things to see in every corner, so it wasn't boring. Even without doing any special experiences, it was a satisfying time just walking around.
