Xiamen in Autumn, lush and cool

#discoverchina On a recent trip to Xiamen, China, our relatives took us to visit the Xiamen Horticulture Expo Garden, which is much loved by the locals. We went on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't crowded, and we were impressed by the lush manicured garden and sprawling space. The Garden is so large it even has a buggy service! 🚊 You can buy a ticket at the main entrance to ride around the Garden on a little tram/buggy. While a great feature especially when travelling with the elderly, the frequency of the tram was pretty low so if you opt for that be prepared for at least 10-15mins wait. Iconic sights to check out include the Xinlin pagoda and the pearl sculpture sitting atop the lake. A lovely place to spend a casual easy afternoon chilling and taking in lovely scenery with the family.
