Reverse travel during the New Year, go to Wuyuan for Spring Festival trips

Wuyuan truly deserves its reputation as the world's most 👄 beautiful countryside. During the Spring Festival, there is a folk culture festival, making the New Year atmosphere very strong! Here is the 1-2 day travel guide I put together: Shanghai - Wuyuan: High-speed train 🚄 takes about 3-4 hours Stop 1️⃣: Huangling Scenic Area: There is a shuttle bus from the high-speed train station directly to the scenic area for 15 RMB/person, or you can carpool for about 25 RMB/person. The journey takes 50 minutes. It is recommended to arrive at Huangling around noon. 🎫 Ticket price is 115 RMB (including cable car). Cable car operating hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Photo spots: 1) Terraced fields: Beautiful terraced fields can be seen on the way up by cable car 2) Patriotic Wall (avoid taking close-up photos in front of the Patriotic Wall as it’s crowded. You can take distant shots outside the “Wutiao Ren Tangshui Shop”) 3) Autumn Drying Viewing Platform 4) Wugui Hall 5) Drying Workshop (popular photo spot) 6) Huaxi Water Street 7) Suspended Earthen House PS: Highly recommend the “Wutiao Ren Tangshui Shop,” which has desserts printed with Wuyuan designs! The whole Huangling visit takes about 1-2 hours for eating and strolling, and 3-4 hours including photography is enough. In the evening, you can take the cable car down and taxi to Wunvzhou Resort Area (50 minutes by car, located in the city). Stop 2️⃣: Wunvzhou Resort Area: 🎫 Ticket price 110 RMB/person Personally, I think this place is better for evening visits, with many local snacks and intangible cultural heritage performances. The spectacular fire pot show and iron flower performance are concentrated around Baoyu Tower. Fire pot show times: 6:40 PM / 7:40 PM / 8:40 PM Intangible cultural heritage iron flower show: 6:30 PM / 8:30 PM Make sure to plan your time well and arrive early to secure a good spot. This was my first time seeing the fire pot show, and it was truly amazing. During the Spring Festival (January 28 - February 3), both scenic areas have arranged more lantern festival performances and fireworks shows than usual. It’s recommended to prepare in advance for your Spring Festival trip!
