March is the perfect time to enjoy the flowers at Huangling, with its vast sea of rapeseed blossoms

I've been to Huangling twice, and March is coming again. I feel that March is the most worthwhile time to visit Huangling throughout the year, as you can not only see the sun-cured harvest but also a sea of rapeseed flowers spreading across the hillsides🌼. Huangling's rapeseed flowering season is divided into three phases due to varying altitudes: 1⃣️ Plain area at the foot of the mountain: The peak flowering period begins in mid-February and lasts until late March 2⃣️ Ancient village terraced fields: The peak flowering period starts in early March and continues until early April 3⃣️ High ridge terraced fields: The peak flowering period commences in late March and lasts until mid-April Huangling Flower Season Check-in Methods: 1⃣️ Aerial flower viewing: Take the cable car up the mountain to enjoy the flowers from above, or climb up to the Leixin Bridge glass walkway or take a zip line for a high-altitude flower viewing experience. 2⃣️ Immersive flower enjoyment: Huangling has created a 3-kilometer-long hiking route that allows you to delve into the flower fields for photography. 3⃣️ Hot spring flower viewing: At the scenic spot's highest point, there are open-air hot spring baths and constant temperature swimming pools, where you can soak in the warmth♨️ while overlooking the vast sea of rapeseed flowers. 4⃣️ Misty flower viewing: The spring rains in Wuyuan come and go quickly, and the distant sea of flowers and green mountains appear and disappear in the mist, dreamlike and illusory. Every March, Huangling also hosts the annual Flower Festival, with various folk performances at that time: ✅ Floral ancient costume show: March 8th at the Wuguitang viewing platform - Food Street - No. 1 viewing platform ✅ A home in the depths of the flower fields: March 8th to April 5th, the first phase of the flower sea thatched cottage, where actors in ancient costumes and tourists plant printing together. ✅ Flower-themed performances: March 8th to April 5th at the No. 1 viewing platform, with dance performances like 'The Ode to the Flower Goddess'. ✅ Bonfire party: March 8th to May 21st, ancient stage bonfire games ... In addition to the colorful folk performances, there is of course Huangling's special sun-cured harvest, perfect for photo check-ins and interactive games. Huangling Cuisine: 🍲 Tianjie Restaurant: Original ecological local farmhouse dishes, Coldwater Pond fish, tasting the traditional Huizhou cuisine of Wuyuan. 🍢 Foodie Street: Local snacks, baked buns, handmade glutinous rice cakes, and internet-famous flung cakes. Accommodation Choices: There are three hotels within the Huangling scenic area: Sun-cured Harvest Homestay, Tianjie Hotel, and Yishanju Villa. This time we stayed at Yishanju Villa, which has more than a dozen boutique secret villas, with a view from every window. The springtime in Huangling is not only filled with a sea of rapeseed flowers but also plum blossoms, pear blossoms, cherry blossoms🌸, peach blossoms, and azaleas🌺... forming a delightful contrast, a feast for the eyes.
