Wuyi Mountain + Yunshuiyao + Xiamen Tour for 10 days and 9 nights with friends

We flew from Taiwan to Kinmen, took the Mini-Three Links, and then took the high-speed rail from Xiamen to Wuyishan. We spent six days there, watching the Impression Dahongpao teahouse and taking a bamboo raft ride on Jiuqu River. The sun was shining, and the scenery was breathtaking. We visited Wuyishan's Song Street, Wanchun Garden, and Zhizhi Temple, climbed Taoyuan Cave, Tianyou Peak, and Yixiantian (One Line Sky), and visited the Dahongpao Scenic Area. We hiked the Rock Bone and Flower Fragrance Trail, chartered a car to Tongmu Pass, Qinglong Waterfall, Wild Monkey Valley, and Moon Bend, and took a taxi to the Xiamei Ancient Residence. We also spent one day exploring the Chongyang River Promenade at night. The lights were beautiful, and each viewing platform had its own unique charm. I highly recommend it. Every night we went to Sangu Old Street for food and drinks. The only attraction we didn't like was the Tea Expo Park, which was completely uninspiring. What I miss most is being able to buy cheap, big, sweet peaches (8 RMB per catty), sweet and delicious yellow peaches (10 RMB per catty), and kiwis on Sangu Old Street. Thinking about it makes me drool! Leisurely strolling and exploring, accompanied by a group of like-minded friends, we spent the days in the mountains laughing and joking, almost shivering for years. On the seventh day, we took the high-speed rail to Zhangzhou and toured Yundongyan and Zhangzhou Ancient City. Unfortunately, the weather was bad and it rained, preventing us from enjoying our trip to the fullest. Fortunately, the B&B we booked had a tea table. While the rain dampened our fun, we found a different kind of joy while enjoying tea, snacks, and chatting. On the eighth day, we took the high-speed rail to Nanjing Station and chartered a car from Nanjing to Yunshuiyao. We walked the Yunshuiyao Ancient Trail, visited Huaiyuan Tower and Guilou, took photos with the ancient banyan tree in Danshuiche, walked across the Lover's Bridge, and enjoyed farm-style food. It was a leisurely two days and one night. In the evening of the ninth day, we took the bus back to Nanjing Station and took the high-speed rail back to Xiamen. We strolled Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and went to the Eight Markets to eat seafood and buy souvenirs. Then, on the tenth day, we returned to Taiwan with great satisfaction. We promised our friends to come back next time! #Xiamen #Yunshuiyao #Wuyishan #Yundongyan #Zhangzhou Ancient City
