OMG! I spent a day exploring Nanchang Street and Yuantouzhu in Wuxi!

You guys won't believe it! I visited Wuxi and checked off both Nanchang Street and Taihu Yuantouzhu to admire the cherry blossoms all in one day. I'm so satisfied! One trip, two completely different experiences, absolutely amazing. In the morning, I first arrived at Nanchang Street, where the antique streets seemed to transport me back in time. White walls, black tiles, small bridges, flowing water, and shops lining the streets. Strolling along the stone-paved road, feeling the breeze on my face, it was incredibly pleasant. I indulged in local snacks along the way, savoring Wuxi's specialty plum blossom cakes, soft, glutinous, and sweet, with a generous filling. It was super satisfying with every bite. There were also various exquisite handicraft shops, and I couldn't resist picking up a few small items as souvenirs. In the afternoon, I headed to Taihu Yuantouzhu for a date with the cherry blossoms. As soon as I entered the scenic area, I was stunned by the sight before me. Vast expanses of cherry blossoms were in full bloom, like clouds, like rosy clouds, dreamlike and illusory. Walking along the lakeside, the breeze blew, and cherry blossom petals fluttered down, like a romantic rain of flowers, landing on my shoulders and hair. At that moment, time seemed to stand still. Yuantouzhu boasts a rich variety of cherry blossoms, with early-blooming cherry blossoms in delicate pink and late-blooming ones in layers. Ascending Luting Mountain, I overlooked the entire Yuantouzhu, with Taihu Lake shimmering and cherry blossoms dotting the scene. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I went crazy taking pictures with my camera, capturing every frame of the limited spring scenery. As I left Yuantouzhu, dusk began to fall, and the night view of Nanchang Street had a unique charm. Red lanterns lit up, reflecting on the river's surface, a stark contrast to the daytime freshness, adding a touch of warmth and poetic beauty. The day's itinerary was packed, and the simplicity of Nanchang Street and the romance of Yuantouzhu intertwined in my heart, creating a beautiful picture. Guys, if you come to Wuxi, you must visit these two places and experience double the joy!
