Wuhu Ancient City, a commercial street by the Yangtze River

Located in Jinghu District, Wuhu City, Anhui Province, it is situated at the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Qingyi River, to the east of the Yangtze River and north of the Qingyi River. In 109 BC, Wuhu County was established, marking the initial formation of Wuhu Ancient City. Until the Ming and Qing dynasties, Wuhu Ancient City was repeatedly destroyed by wars and rebuilt on its original site. After four years of closure and renovation, Wuhu Ancient City was reopened to the public on December 31, 2020.
