Hidden Japanese Izakaya Cuisine🏮｜Ajijiman

In the alleys of Wenshan District, there is a delicious izakaya "Wei Zi Man" with 4.3 stars on Google 🏮, which is a good choice for friends and family gatherings👍 The small house is hidden in the alley of an old house. Although there are not many tables, there are still many guests who come to visit specially. Basically, everything you can eat in an izakaya is available here, from cold cuts, grilled food, fried food, sashimi, udon, grilled rice balls... "Wei Zi Man" also has some private dishes and irregular menus. I have introduced some of them before. This time I will share some new dishes 🍴 📍Skewers 🍢🍢🍢 -Bacon Enoki Mushroom Skewers The roasted bacon slices are paired with juicy enoki mushrooms, which is a perfect match and has a unique taste. -Beef Pepper Rolls The marbled beef slices are sandwiched with peeled peppers. The peeled peppers are not too spicy and have a pickled aroma. They are paired with the fatty beef slices. I recommend it. -Chicken skewers The chicken skewers are a must-order every time I come. The processed chicken thighs are tender, juicy and delicious, but this time I felt the portion was a little small. -Shiitake mushroom skewers, zucchini skewers The roasted mushrooms and zucchini are juicy and sweet, and they are delicious when sprinkled with some pepper and salt. It is a simple and natural way to eat them. - Grilled corn The corn shoots grown locally by small farmers in Taiwan are grilled with the skin on, fresh and juicy. 📍Beef rib fries🥩🍟 The French fries were fried crispy and delicious, and the beef ribs were cut into pieces. Unfortunately, the dishes were served at once and we left them for a little while, so they got a little cold and the taste was not that good. 📍Fried tempura🍤 There are taro, pumpkin, eggplant, sweet potato, green pepper and prawns. The batter is of moderate thickness and fried crispy, which is very good. However, there are fewer fish fillets than before, probably because prices have risen, and the store can only make some adjustments to the ingredients without raising prices. 📍Mentaiko cheese potato BBQ🥘 Potato slices topped with mentaiko and cheese gratin, a delicious, savory and smooth dish. 📍Beef braised udon🍜 It's a very special way of cooking, with chewy and smooth udon noodles as the base, topped with braised beef, and served with pickled radish, raw onions, shredded cucumber and kelp sprouts. It's a very refreshing noodle dish. 📍Salmon Rice Balls🍙 The Meilaibi fish rice balls are grilled on both sides and are full of salmon filling. You can taste salmon in every bite. 📍Thick grilled egg-eel egg roll The tamagoyaki is soft, tender and sweet, with eel in the middle, giving it a rich and layered taste. I highly recommend it. 📍Fried oysters🦪 A must-order every time I come, really recommended.
