Taizhou Wenling Changyu Dongtian, a stunning cave bathed in divine beams of light!

Last week I just checked in at Wenling Changyu Dongtian, and thinking about the beams of light in Shuiyun Cave still makes my heart flutter! Have you ever waited half an hour for a travel moment that’s worth seeing just once? That day I arrived at the parking lot at 8:50 AM, the 10 yuan daily parking fee was super reasonable, and I rushed into Shuiyun Cave with my little backpack. After all, the light only comes at 9:30, so arriving early means you can grab the spot right in front of the cave entrance. Around 9:20 AM, a few rays of golden light leaked from the top of the rock, then suddenly the whole beam smashed into the cave! I was wearing a light blue long dress wrapped in the light, and my friend took a wide-angle shot from below. The contrast between the rough rock and the gentle beam of light in the photo was amazing. After 10:30 AM, the light spots moved to the ground. I tried lying down, with sunlight falling on my face through the cracks in the rock. My friend laughed and said I looked like a divine maiden fallen into the stone cave. When you go, be sure to try the side light position—your hair strands will glow one by one! Don’t rush to leave after shooting! Follow the spiral stairs up to the Shuangmen Grottoes. At 6 PM the park lights up, warm light reflecting on the gray rocks suddenly gives off a cyberpunk vibe~ The 40 yuan night tour ticket is totally worth it: when the Water Phoenix spits fire, I instinctively gasped. The intangible cultural heritage iron flower show is even more amazing, with sparks falling like stars all over! The NPCs are great actors, fully immersive interaction, instantly pulling you into the scene. If you love interaction, be sure to talk to them actively! The Langham Intercontinental Hotel where I stayed is very convenient, just a 20-minute drive to the scenic area. After the night tour, no need to rush home in the dark. I booked a package with breakfast, and the next day I leisurely enjoyed porridge. The seafood at Linjia Taiwanese Cuisine next to the hotel was super fresh—I ate there twice! A reminder for everyone: there’s no food sold inside the cave, so be sure to bring water and snacks (I forgot water that day and was so thirsty I only bought a cultural creative ice cream at the exit to save myself). Some stairs are a bit steep, wear non-slip shoes so you don’t almost slip like I did! Chasing the divine light by day, time traveling by night, I was busy all day long.
