Recently, I stayed at Xibei Hotel and on a whim decided to visit Shuitong'ao. This trip was truly unforgettable.

Setting off from the hotel in the morning, I felt exceptionally refreshed all the way. Upon arriving at Xiaojiaochen Village, I began my hiking journey. Initially, I walked along a flat concrete road, occasionally seeing a few households by the roadside, full of life. After a while, I reached the trailhead and began to ascend. Although this mountain path wasn't steep, it was winding and tortuous, leaving me breathless. However, the scenery along the way made me feel it was all worth it. On one side were lush green mountains and forests, with birds singing joyfully on the branches; on the other side, I occasionally caught a glimpse of the sea, that touch of azure was truly refreshing. After much effort, I finally reached the ridge line. Here, the view instantly opened up, and the sea breeze caressed my face, bringing the unique salty and humid scent of the ocean. Looking as far as the eye could see, the mountains and sea merged, and distant cargo ships slowly sailed on the ocean, painting a serene and beautiful picture. The signposts along the way were very interesting, saying "I'm waiting for you at Shuitong'ao," as if greeting me, the traveler, warmly, making me look forward to the destination even more. Continuing forward, I could hear the sound of waves crashing against the rocks, the sound growing clearer and clearer, and my steps became more eager. When I finally saw Shuitong'ao Beach, the beautiful scenery before my eyes left me stunned. The sand on the beach was fine and soft, feeling incredibly comfortable to walk on barefoot. Waves rolled in one after another, the sea water was crystal clear, and I could see small fish and shrimp swimming happily in the water. Many people were playing by the sea, some building sandcastles, some wading in the waves, their laughter echoing across the entire beach. After strolling on the beach for a long time, I found a spot to sit down and quietly enjoy this wonderful moment. Closing my eyes, listening to the sound of the waves, and feeling the gentle caress of the sea breeze, all my fatigue and worries were cast away. At that moment, I was deeply immersed in the beautiful scenery of nature, feeling incredibly peaceful inside. This experience of going from Xibei Hotel to Shuitong'ao not only allowed me to appreciate the beautiful natural scenery but also made me feel the wonder and charm of nature. It was a journey full of surprises and beauty, and I believe that if I have the chance, I will definitely come again.
