Xiangquan Temple (1).

Xiangquan Temple is located in Linluo Mountain, northwest of Taigongquan Town, Weihui City, Xinxiang City, Henan Province. Xiangquan Temple was built in the 7th year of the Tianbao period of the Northern Qi Dynasty (556 AD) by the second abbot of Shaolin Temple, Master Chou, on the site of the former palace of the King of Wei during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. The temple is divided into east and west sections, separated by a mountain valley. The temple is built on a cliff and is large in scale. The pavilions, towers, steles, and Buddha sculptures are very spectacular. Historically, it was famous for its "Eight Views": "Buddha Cave Smoke, Ancient Pagoda Soaring, Cool Terrace Moon Watching, Torrent Sound, Huashan Overlapping Green, Milk Rock Stream, Fragrant Spring Sweetness, and Lushan Sunset." In 2013, Xiangquan Temple was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
