Winter in Weihai is surprisingly charming! But not having a travel guide is a real killer.

Weihai is a place that grows on you, and it's absolutely stunning in winter! Whether it's a sunny or snowy day, the atmosphere is perfect from day to night! But! The wind is strong and it's freezing! Especially on snowy days, it can be deadly! So if you're planning to visit, make sure to keep the following in mind: 1⃣️Clothing: 1. Bring a coat and pair it with a red or blue scarf. You'll look great in photos by the sea, and it will make you look taller and slimmer. 2. Bring a thick down jacket. When the wind blows by the sea, only a down jacket can keep you warm. 3. Hat! Hat! Hat! You must wear one, or your hair will be blown away! 4. Wear thick, fleece-lined pants, and bring thermal underwear and a sweater. 2⃣️Transportation: It's most cost-effective to take a taxi or rent a car in the city. Taxis are cheap and easy to find, and rides within the city usually cost less than CNY 20. 3⃣️Food: Weihai is not a food desert, so there's no need to specifically look for popular restaurants. Any Korean restaurant by the roadside will have good food. 4⃣️Accommodation: It's recommended to stay in the city center or near Torch Eight Street. You don't have to stay in a sea-view room, just stay close to the sea. But make sure the room has underfloor heating, as air conditioning won't be enough! 5⃣️Must-visit attractions: Torch Eight Street, International Bathing Beach, Weihai Film and Television City (a great place to watch the sunset!), Blue Whale, and Rongcheng Swan Lake (open from 5:00 am to 9:00 am, so make sure to get up early).
