The Prime House - A High-Quality Steakhouse with Ambiance

Wan Chai is home to many hidden restaurants waiting to be discovered. This time, we visited an upstairs steakhouse that has also been featured in Timeout. Both the ambiance and food quality are top-notch. The dinner set offers several signature dishes, and the Flat Iron Steak is a must-try. The soup of the day was mushroom soup, made with real mushrooms blended into a smooth texture. It’s not overly creamy and has a natural taste without any MSG. The homemade thyme garlic butter bread, baked in their own kitchen, is crispy and flavorful. The Caesar salad comes with a small soft-boiled egg, fresh lettuce, and rich cheese flavor. 230g U.S. Flat Iron Steak 🥩 This cut comes from the shoulder area, specifically behind the shoulder blade near the ribs. The meat is tender with a fine texture, not overly fatty, and has a rich beef flavor. It’s soft yet slightly chewy. Pairing it with the herb sauce enhances the taste even more. Texas-Style BBQ Pork Ribs (Original Flavor) A massive portion that even men might struggle to finish. The secret BBQ sauce is a perfect balance of sweet and savory, delivering a classic American flavor. Worth mentioning is the excellent service, one of the best we’ve experienced recently.
