🇳🇴 Voss, Norway – A Hidden Gem Worth Visiting 🤩

Voss may be less well-known compared to other Norwegian cities, but it’s an absolutely breathtaking town – calm, scenic, and perfect for a summer getaway. I only stayed two days and honestly wish I had spent more time here! 🚠 Things to Do 1️⃣ Voss Gondola – A must-visit! Take the cable car up to the mountain for a panoramic view of the entire town. You’ll also find unique photo spots like the giant swing and oversized chair. (Round-trip ticket: NOK 425 per person). 2️⃣ Voss Lake & Voss Culture Centre – Located right opposite the train station, you can enjoy a lakeside stroll and snap photos with the giant Voss sign. 🏢 Hotel I stayed at Scandic Voss (about NOK 1800/night for a double room, breakfast included). The hotel is super convenient, located right next to the train station. 🍽 Food Recommendations 1️⃣ Malin Sushi – Fresh sushi at reasonable prices, perfect when you’re craving Asian food. 2️⃣ Vangen Cafe – Cozy spot with delicious soup 🍲 and cakes 🍰 ✨ Overall Voss feels like a “little Switzerland” in Norway. If you’re doing the Norway in a Nutshell journey, don’t just pass through – spend a day or two here to really enjoy the charm of this town.
