Vibrant Verona

Just an hour and 20 minutes by train, west of its more famous neighbour Venice, Verona is a vibrant city with a mediaeval old town. It’s famous for being the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. There is a huge amphitheatre from the first century right in the centre of town. (Verona) has so much to offer but perhaps often overlooked if you’re in the north of Italy and visiting Venice or Lake Garda take the time to spend at least an afternoon in Verona. #getgoing2025 #verona #italy
