#hellohalloween #travel We were really impressed by the Grand Canal, you just can’t stop looking around. We took Vaporetto line 1 all the way through, which is way cheaper than a gondola but still a great experience. Especially around sunset, the atmosphere was beautiful. If you can, try to get a spot at the front or back, the view is worth it. It can get quite crowded during the day, so early morning or late rides are more relaxing. And if you’ve got time, walking along parts of the canal gives you a more peaceful, local side of Venice. We loved the Grand Canal, you can hardly get tired of it. We took the vaporetto (line 1) once the entire route, which is much cheaper than a gondola, but still totally impressive. Especially in the evening at sunset it was really atmospheric. If possible, you should secure a place in the front or back, the view is great. During the day it is sometimes quite crowded, so it is better to drive in the morning or later. If you have time, you should also walk along the water, where you will discover completely different, quieter sides of Venice.
