Kerala Varkala Beach

This stretch fine white sand is outlined in coconut trees and bamboo huts giving it a totally tropical feel. At the southern end of the beach is a mineral spring where the water is said to have medicinal properties. After you can round off the day perfectly by watching the sunset over the beach. There is a section of the beach at the end of the road where a Hindu temple stands. People go there to perform last rites when loved ones have passed away.
