Valletta: The Seaside Fortress City

If you visit Malta, you must visit its capital, Valletta. This UNESCO World Heritage fortress city is famous for its silverwork. Like Kyoto, it has a grid of streets, and within the city, there are many ruins left by the Knights of Malta. Among them, St. John's Co-Cathedral is a must-see. Although it has a relatively high entrance fee, it is vast and definitely worth seeing! (I will detail this in another review.) In summer, it gets hot, so be sure to bring water. As a country surrounded by the sea with no rivers, water is precious and costly. Stocking up on drinking water in bottles can make your sightseeing more economical. The climate is dry, so even with an umbrella, it feels cool. The cafes in the city have parasols, and enjoying a cold drink and gelato at a terrace seat with the sea breeze is refreshing o(^▽^)o Take a look around various shops while sightseeing. The beautiful cityscape is a recommended place that you should see at least once in your life!
