A Catholic church made from Oya stone

Much of the building is made of Oya stone, a specialty of Utsunomiya, and it has been designated a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property. The Oya stone used for the interior and exterior walls of the second-floor chapel is the same Oya stone used in the former Imperial Hotel. The two towers towering into the blue sky were a striking sight. The church is apparently lit up at night. You can tour the grounds for free. The cathedral has a solemn atmosphere, Mass is held every Sunday at 10:00 AM and is open to the public. The beautiful sounds of the traditional pipe organ resonate. The way the light filtered through was also wonderful. There was a woman reading a book by herself, and she was softly singing along to the sound of the pipe organ.
