Students, get excited! You have to stay at this hotel when you come to Ürümqi!

I recently visited Ürümqi and chose the IU Hotel (Ürümqi Nianzigou Dehui Wanda Plaza). I'm here to share my honest review. 📍[Location and Surroundings] The hotel is located on floors 10–15, Guo Ye Building, No. 25 Changjiang Road, Shayibake District. The location is superb. It is adjacent to Nianzigou Station and very close to wholesale centers such as Xinjiang International Trade and Business City and Da Xiao Ximen. It is only 1.5 km from Ürümqi South Railway Station and 15 km from Ürümqi Airport. There are BRT and bus stops right outside, making it very convenient to get around. The surrounding area has a wide variety of entertainment and dining options. Quanjude, Dong Lai Shun, and other well-known restaurants are within 500m. There are also large KTVs and slow rock bars, so you won't have to worry about finding something to do. 🏨[Hotel Exterior and Lobby] The exterior is unremarkable. When you enter the lobby, the space isn't particularly large, but the decor is simple and stylish, clean and tidy. Check-in at the front desk is fast, the staff is friendly, and they also provide helpful suggestions for nearby attractions. 🛏️[Room Experience] I stayed in a U+ Smart Queen Room, and the room was very cozy. The bed was very comfortable, the mattress was the right firmness, and the linens were clean and odor-free. The room has a smart guest control system, so you can use Xiaodu to turn on and off the lights and control the curtains, which is super convenient. The windows have a good view and plenty of natural light. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, the shower water flows smoothly, and hot water is available immediately. The quality of the toiletries is acceptable. However, the room isn't very spacious, and there isn't much room to move around after opening a suitcase. 🍽️[Dining] The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with a wide variety of options, including Xinjiang-style nang and milk tea, as well as regular items such as bread, eggs, and milk, to meet different tastes. The restaurant is clean, and the staff clears the tables promptly. 💁[Service Quality] The service is really attentive! The front desk proactively upgraded my room type when I checked in. Any problems I had were quickly resolved by calling the front desk. For example, when I needed an extra towel, it was delivered in minutes. 🛎️[Hotel Facilities] The hotel has free parking, which is great for those driving. Free Wi-Fi is available, and the signal is good, so browsing the Internet is smooth. There is also luggage storage, which is convenient for traveling. However, the hotel doesn't have a gym or laundry room, which isn't very convenient for long-term guests. Overall, the IU Hotel (Ürümqi Nianzigou Dehui Wanda Plaza) is very cost-effective, with an excellent location and good service. Although there are some minor shortcomings, they don't affect the stay experience. I recommend it to friends visiting Ürümqi!
