Recently, I traveled to Urumqi and chose Xishang Hotel (Urumqi International Grand Bazaar People's Hospital Branch). Let me share my real experience with you. 📍Location and Transportation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is located at No. 83 Xinhua South Road, Tianshan District, Urumqi, with an excellent location. It is close to Nanmen subway station, about an 8-minute walk, and you can quickly reach various attractions by subway. There are also many bus stops nearby, with extensive routes. It is only 1.38 km away from Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar, where you can stroll to experience the lively ethnic customs, and it is also not far from attractions like Hongshan Park and People's Park, making it extremely convenient for travel and sightseeing. 🏨Hotel environment: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel opened in 2020 and is relatively new. The lobby is decorated in a stylish, light luxury style. As soon as you enter, you can smell a faint aroma, which is relaxing. The public areas are thoughtfully designed, with comfortable sofas, bookshelves, and free coffee and tea. The guest rooms are cozy, classic, and elegant. The bedding is soft and comfortable, with zero-pressure mattresses that are great for a restful sleep. The room's smart control system is a great feature. You can control the lights and curtains just by speaking, which feels very high-tech. However, the room soundproofing is average, and street-facing rooms can be a bit noisy at night. 👨‍✈️Service quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ From checking in at the front desk, you could feel the warm service. The staff were very efficient and also thoughtfully introduced fun places and delicious restaurants nearby. During the stay, any request was responded to promptly. One time I needed a few more towels, after calling the front desk, they were delivered quickly, thumbs up! The only drawback was that there were quite a few people when checking out in the morning, and the waiting time was a bit long. 🍽️Dining experience: ⭐⭐⭐ Breakfast is served in the hotel's first-floor restaurant. It offers a decent variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including common items like bread, eggs, and milk, as well as Xinjiang specialties like naan bread and milk tea. The taste is average but sufficient for basic needs. However, the restaurant space is limited and can get a bit crowded during peak dining hours. 💴Value for money: ⭐⭐⭐ The price I booked was average for similar hotels. Considering its excellent location, good environment, and service, the value for money was acceptable. If the soundproofing and breakfast dining environment could be improved, the value for money would be even higher. Overall, Xi'an Hotel (Urumqi International Grand Bazaar People's Hospital Branch) is a good choice, suitable for those traveling to Urumqi for leisure or business.
