Phae To Lo Su: An Easy Hike for Beginners

Phae To Lo Su is located in Umphang District, Tak Province. To reach Umphang, you’ll need to navigate through 1,219 curves on the road. This place is famous for its heart-shaped waterfall, which is incredibly beautiful and refreshing. You can hike up to the summit at 30,000 feet to enjoy the breathtaking views and even see the waterfall from above. The hike can be quite tiring, but the stunning views at the top make it all worth it! The trek to the campsite is about 2-4 kilometers, and the hike to the summit is around 4 kilometers (but very steep), crossing 8 hills along the way. The forest is open from June to October each year, so make sure to follow the official page for updates. Hiring a porter/guide is mandatory, with one porter per group.
