Heart-shaped Waterfall: Pha Charoen Waterfall or Pha Charoen

The Heart of the Forest: 'Pha Charoen Waterfall' is located on Doi Ma Muang Sam Muen in the Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary, Umphang District, Tak Province. This large waterfall flows from the peak of Doi Ma Muang Sam Muen and is approximately 500 meters high. When viewed from a high angle on the peak of Doi Ma Muang Sam Muen, you can see the waterfall cascading down the cliff in a long white stream, merging through the green mountains, resembling a heart shape. Standing in front of this waterfall, you can feel its grandeur, magnificence, and complete beauty. Due to the height of this waterfall, getting there is not easy. It requires a trek through the forest, taking about 4-5 hours. Besides the beautiful waterfall, conquering the peak of Doi Ma Muang Sam Muen is another highlight of visiting this place.
