#Spirit-loving tourist attraction Wat Nong Luang is a temple that people in Umphang, Tak Province, like to worship. It is a temple that the Karen hill tribe people have worked together to build. It was originally called "Wat Nu Pha Do", which means a big lake. We took a van with the Umphang House trip back from visiting Tee Lor Su Waterfall and stopped to worship before returning. The highlight of this temple is the largest golden teak church in the country. It is very beautiful. The walls and floors are coated with red glossy paint. Under the base of the principal Buddha image, the remains or soil from the area where the Buddha was born, enlightened, and passed away from India have been placed. Spirit-loving people must not miss praying to Ai Khai at the pavilion next to the church. Someone has come to pray to Ai Khai here and won the first prize.
