Visit to the Genghis Khan Museum!

In March 2024, the world-renowned National Geographic Society (NGS) selected the Genghis Khan National Museum as one of the top 20 museums and cultural heritage sites to visit in 2024. Previously, the Mongolian people learned about their history by reading 'The Secret History of the Mongols,' but now they can visit the Genghis Khan Museum, which was opened for viewing and educational purposes. At this museum, visitors can explore the history of the Huns, the first nomadic state, and the kings and nobles of the Mongol Empire. They can also reflect on how the people who conquered the world on horseback and with bows and arrows were intellectuals. The design of the exhibits and models in the museum shows that the Mongolians of that time were not only intellectually advanced but also skilled with their hands. The Genghis Khan National Museum is ranked 10th in Asia in terms of building area and scale. This represents the greatest development in the cultural field in Mongolia in the past 100 years.
